This course trains construction workers to recognize and avoid fall hazards. It covers OSHA requirements for when and how to use fall protection. Fall protection with unprotected, leading sides and edges. Avoiding falling objects and struck-by hazards. Using guardrail, personal fall arrest, warning line and safety monitoring systems. OSHA training requirements. Safety equipment inspection procedures. You will learn about common fall risks, protective equipment and OSHA's regulatory safety requirements associated with falls.

This course on First Aid in Construction Environments discusses what employees should do and not do when someone is sick or injured, and how to determine when they should call for emergency assistance. Also, this awareness-level course teaches workers how to administer basic first aid while waiting for emergency medical services (EMS) personnel to arrive. You will learn how to assess a victim's condition, perform CPR and treat several types of wounds. Lastly, this course covers how to protect yourself from potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, bloodborne pathogen safety regulations & practices.
